G’day all,
The Sub blew up last week with some kind shares from Vukasin, Tom and the Money of Mine team for which I am grateful for. All are insightful and entertaining and very much worth following. Welcome to all new subs!
This week I provide a short update on Arras following their announcement and highlight a company I recently discovered deep diving into palladium.
As always if you find this content useful and believe your mates would as well then give me a share.

Arras Minerals-ARK.V- Arras Minerals Drills 86.8 Metres @ 1.10 G/T AUEQ from Surface at Berezski East Target - Elemes Project, Kazakhstan
Here the company has reported a nice Au hit. The mineralization is Au-rich rather than Cu-rich and sits on the eastern side of the companies porphyry/epithermal diving line.
This particular target has seen some historical drilling in-line with that reported in this announcement and shown in the figure below.
Speculating on this particular hit and its relationship to previously reported drilling is somewhat premature other that to say the company needs more drilling to get a better picture.
Some points are clear i.e. this is a large hydrothermal system that from my interpretation is shallowing in terms of the surface exposure to the east and the north-west with the deepest porphyry style mineralization manifesting in the south-west. There are several commodities and mineralization styles to target here and it all ultimately comes down to what the company wants to pursue.
I watch with interest.
New interesting targets
Kingrose Mining-KRM- Kingsrose-BHP Alliances Announce High Grade Rockchips
I don’t think that I’ve ever outlined in detail what I look for in an explorer in succinct points. I’ve certainly highlighted companies and one could piece together a picture from it. These are the desirables:
Mineral systems and science based approach to targeting.
Pursuit of large targets.
Belt scale (or close to) positions
Collection of their own primary data.
Rapid (and cheap) target triage.
Stable minimally dilutive exploration funding or playing with someone else’s money.
Kingrose Mining ticks these boxes for me. Along with looking to explore a previously discovered high-grade Pd prospect called Penikat, the company has BHP funding an aggressive exploration campaign on a couple of their other tenement holdings in Norway and Finland.
None of this means that I will buy the stocks as regular readers will note this is not my investment strategy. What it does mean is that I will keep a close eye on what they are doing as this is the recipe for success (with luck).
The company flew gravity surveys that they will combine with magnetic data to identify prospective intrusions for orthomagmatic polymetallic deposits (read Nova, Voiseys Bay, Noril’sk):
They will fly EM over areas of interest to generate targets that BHP can then elect to option and spend…… get ready for it…….. 36 million USD on to earn 75%. Kudos to whoever negotiated this deal!
Certainly other parts of the Scandinavian countries have these deposits in Sakatti, Kevitsa and across the border into Russia with Pechenga. Some may even recall that BHP bought a set of tenements in Sweden with a interesting Ni-Cu discovery a couple of years ago. A development that surprised me. It’s all straws in the wind sort of stuff but they seem very keen on this part of the world.
It’s a good part of the world to be doing this sort of exploration. The Finnish geological survey has a huge library of very well petrophysically characterized samples that can be leveraged into this sort of geophysical inversion modeling whereby one can get to the point of assigning rock types to shapes rather than just having density and magnetic blobs.
The bottom line is that the company has BHP funding monster Tier 1 style exploration with all BHP earn in being the result of significant in-ground spend. This is how monsters are found.
Definitely watching this with interest.

Haha, im one of the new subs. Looking forward to some interesting content. And good luck with this substack.
ASX companies go to Scandanvia to die. We shall see if KRM can change this, its interesting for sure
